Data & Analytics Specialist

As a Data & Analytics Specialist , you serve as the bridge between the business, IT systems, and data. You collaborate with department heads across the entire group—from Sales and Supply Chain to Manufacturing and Quality—on both operational and substantive matters, and translate their needs into smart analyses, ERP configurations, and Power BI dashboards that are actually used. You’ll be part of the IT team (alongside the ERP administrator, software engineer, and senior system & cloud ) and report to the Head of IT. This isn’t a peripheral role: you’re the link that makes data work for the entire organization.

What you'll be doing:

• You analyze business processes across all departments—Sales & Customer Service, Supply Chain Logistics, Procurement, Product Costing & Pricing, Manufacturing, and Quality—and translate them into practical configurations in the business software.
• You build and manage Power BI dashboards that provide stakeholders with accurate, actionable information, and you continuously refine them.
• You explain functional analyses to the ERP administrator and software engineer, coordinate development and implementation, and thoroughly test new business processes before they go live.
• You monitor data quality and set up follow-up systems and reporting structures that strengthen the organization structurally.
• You actively explore how AI can take the organization to the next level: you identify concrete and translate them into improvement projects focused on efficiency, reporting, and decision-making.
• You ’ll guide users through the introduction of new processes and tools, with a focus on adoption—not just implementation.

A master’s degree in IT—or someone with equivalent experience gained through many years of work. At least 10 years of experience with ERP systems, digitization, and business analysis in a manufacturing environment.

• Strong analytical skills and the ability to quickly adapt to different configurations and applications
• Communicates fluently in Dutch and English

• Cross-functional bridge : You speak both the language of business and IT
• I'm proficient in SQL (SQL Server / PostgreSQL), BPMN, and UML data modeling
• Is hands-on and makes results visible
