Team Leader – Day Shift
What is your challenge?
Are you someone who likes to get people moving in the workplace? Combine leadership with hands-on work as a Team Leader in production at Sunconfex Group. At Sunconfex, you will manage a team of 20 garment workers, work with experienced colleagues and mentors, and ensure that our production runs efficiently, smoothly, and to a high standard. From our site in Ypres, we produce custom-made sun protection textiles for customers throughout Europe on a daily basis. As a team leader, you will ensure that your team works together effectively, that the schedule is met, and that the quality of each fabric is guaranteed.
What is your range of duties?
As a team leader, you are the point of contact and the driving force behind your department:
- You will manage a team of about 20 garment production workers on a daily basis.
- As part of the team, you’ll work alongside experienced colleagues and mentors.
- You organize the work so that the production schedule runs smoothly.
- You will support employees as needed and actively participate in production yourself.
- You motivate the team and foster constructive collaboration.
- You provide clear feedback and help employees grow in their roles.
- You will help train new colleagues alongside the mentors.
- You ensure quality, safety, and efficiency.
- You will work with the production coordinator to identify ways to improve the production process.
Who are you?
- Experience: You have experience leading or coordinating a team in a production environment.
- Leadership: You feel comfortable leading a team and motivating people.
- Approach: You combine a clear approach with respectful communication and enjoy taking a practical, hands-on role.
- Process insight: You can quickly identify areas where processes can be made more efficient.
- Languages & Schedule: You speak Dutch and French and work during the day.
