Production worker Awning + Screen (Day or Evening shift)
What is your challenge?
You will work every day in the confection of quality awning textiles at one of the biggest players in Europe. Each fabric is unique, fully customized for the customer and must meet strict quality standards. You will support both our screen and awning departments, where you will work with larger fabric material and specialize in cutting, stitching and gluing. As a true team player, you will operate various machines in a polyvalent manner and help ensure a perfect finish and reliable delivery to our customers.
What is your range of duties?
- Cutting cloths accurately according to size specifications (by millimeters)
- Gluing cloths carefully and consistently
- Perform stitching with an eye for quality and neat finish
- Large cloth material handling, positioning and processing
- Checking finished cloths and detecting any errors
- Thinking along in solutions when there are deviations
- Assist in various posts within the department
- Communicate fluently with colleagues for efficient collaboration
- Monitor cleanliness and order in the workplace

The vacancy Production Employee Canopy and Screen Department (day shift or evening shift) is for our site in Ypres (Belgium).
When will you come to work?
We work with 2 shifts, with you firmly choosing 1 of the two.
Day shift:
For the day shift, we work a standard hourly schedule of 37.5h/week. Where you will build up extra recup in the high season. To compensate, you can of course take recup in our off-season.

Evening shift:
For the evening shift we work immediately standard hourly schedule of 32.5h/week. In which you will build up extra recup in the high season. To compensate, you can of course take recup in our off-season.
