Something new under the sun - a 'shining' identity for Sunconfex Group
With Sunconfex Group, we excel in the manufacture and distribution of high-quality textiles to keep out the sun and create shade. These are the qualities we want to radiate!
Since 2005, we have evolved quite considerably. In that time, we have grown into a company with a name and reputation throughout Europe. In order to position ourselves even more distinctly as a modern, innovative player in the sun protection industry, a rebranding was urgently needed.
To refresh our brand and place extra emphasis on our story, we partnered up with Liquid, a strategic and creative branding agency based in Bruges. ‘That objective view of our product, our company and our communication, made the whole exercise extra exciting,’ says Emelien Kestelyn, marketing manager and daughter of the founder Ludwig Kestelyn.

New logo, clear brand architecture
and refreshed visual identity
Sunconfex Group has a new look. A contemporary logo, aclear branding and a clear story, it all creates a new momentum – both within our family business and soon also in the European sun protection sector.
The two pillars – Sunconfex for manufacturing and Solaye Fabrics for fabric on rolls – are now being merged under the Sunconfex Group. The website also reflects this, with a new visual style. The new logo was designed with an eye to the future, and a nod to the past. Tighter now, but still recognisable.
‘Liquid succeeded in putting our own identity and values in the spotlight. All of things that were obvious internally, were not very visible externally, such as being proud of our products, company and team,’ says Emelien Kestelyn.
